There's been heaps of consultation and thinking through a lot of issues, to tick off the launch for the new ACSD website. Here it is. Hopefully a refreshing, helpful place for members and visitors alike to come and gain some insight, info, news, documentation or other resource. May your journey be the easier because you found something helpful or inspirational at this place.

After you've looked around, you may consider making a 'comment' that will assist the ACSD Executive learn more about what members and visitors are looking for in a spiritual direction-related site like this. As noted above, comments are moderated by an Executive member to guard against spam. But don't let that put you off commenting. The promise is to get your legitimate post up asap - it says within 48 hours above.

Enough from me. As I hand this renewed site over to the Executive and Members of ACSD Inc. (Aotearoa New Zealand) I'll hang around in the background and watch with interest as the website develops.

The ACSD website is being upgraded and refreshed. A significant addition to the website is this Blog facility. ACSD Blog posts are an important and helpful means of communication for organisations like ACSD. A Blog also provides enhanced search engine exposure for websites on the key words and phrases of the Post. The key words for this Blog post, for instance, are: blog, acsd, website, spiritual direction, etc.

The ACSD website not surprisingly ranks highly for the search term, 'spiritual direction' - top of page one in Google. With a bit of help from this ACSD Blog it may also lift to page one keywords like: spiritual director, nz spirituality, retreat, spiritual companion; if these words and phrases appear often enough as keywords in the ACSD Blog as well as in the website.

If readers, like you, choose to send these Blog Posts out to your Twitter or Facebook pages/friends (you can use the links below) then we will get even more traction with the search engines. Let's work together on this.
